Nancy Cappelloni, Ed.D. is a Learning Specialist and Educational Consultant. She works with children and families in the following areas:
  • Kindergarten Readiness and the Transition to Kindergarten
  • Early Literacy in the Preschool Environment
  • Primary School Academic Support
  • Learning Strategies, Self-Regulated Learning, and "Study" Skills
  • Writing for Middle School and High School Students 
Nancy Cappelloni, Ed.D. provides the following services:
  • Family Consultations regarding school-related concerns

  • Individual academic tutoring with students grades kindergarten through fifth
  • Learning Strategies and Study Skills Coach for students grades two through twelve
  • Liaison/Advocate for students and their families with teachers, schools, and other professionals
  • Professional Development for Preschool and Primary school teaching faculty
  • Family Workshops and Events in Kindergarten Readiness and Early Literacy
         The goal of Nancy Cappelloni, Educational Consultant, is to help each child become a more effective learner and experience greater academic success through well implemented learning strategies and intervention. She works collaboratively with the family, school, and other support professionals in order to provide an integrated and comprehensive plan, meeting the unique learning needs of each individual child. 

    Nancy Cappelloni holds the following degrees:

    • B.A. University of Colorado, Boulder
    • California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential/CLAD
    • Early Childhood Education Administrative Credential 
    • California Community College Instructor Credential

          Dr. Cappelloni is a member of a number of professional affiliations, has presented numerous staff development seminars and has presented at professional conferences, is the author of four books, and has won a number of teaching awards and grants.
